The Hotel Pedras do Patacho is located along the northeastern coast of Brazil, at Patacho’s beach, which stands out due to its paradisiac look and exuberant nature. Guided by a stone path, the guests are then led to the hotel’s seven bungalows and also to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The hotel combines nature and a contemporary design by using wood, natural stones and corten steel.
In order to create a jewelry for Pedras do Patacho, SELVAGEN was inspired by the architecture’s main points that were able to materialize the local essence. The walls that surround it, are all made by unique pieces of stone, with different fits and multiple arrangements. Therefore, the Pedras Jewelry was generated by an algorithm for the pattern in the walls, with seven cells for each bungalow and the paths that connect them.
The jewelry, laser cut and 18k gold plated, is presented over a wooden case digitally milled with the continuation of the same pattern and then, paper wrapped with a corten print.
